    Waxahachie Foundation

"The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that outlasts it." — William James

From children to seniors, Waxahachie Foundation helps thousands in our community every year through grants to non-profit organizations benefiting the citizens of Waxahachie. These grants are possible because of the generous donations of our community members. In the last ten years alone, 36 organizations have received more than $400,000 in grants.

When people donate funds to the Waxahachie Foundation, they need only look at Baylor Scott & White Hospital and many other grant recipients to see the positive difference their contributions make.

Since its inception in 1968, the Waxahachie Foundation has raised more than 2 million dollars in donations. These funds are never touched. Instead, the Foundation uses the interest earned on the principle to provide grants four times each year.

More than 99% of the interest earned on monies donated to the Foundation goes directly to the many non-profit groups that receive grants. In fact, the Waxahachie Foundation has no paid administrative staff and has less than 1% of its funds for administrative costs.

To continue to meet the many needs within our community, the Waxahachie Foundation relies on donations, bequeaths in wills, and other forms of financial endowments.
